ABOUT HARAKA

The inspiration for the name Haraka comes from the Arabic word for "movement". This name was chosen to reflect the idea of dynamic and transformative encounters with nature through activities such as Forest Bathing.

The name highlights the idea of embracing the movement of nature, inviting participants to engage with the transformative power of the natural world.

The Philosophy behind Haraka aims to create immersive nature-based experiences that encourage individuals to embrace movement, both physically and mentally, while fostering a deep connection with the natural environment which revolve around the following key principles:

Movement and Mindfulness: By combining physical movement, such as forest bathing and nature engagement, with mindfulness practices, Haraka helps people reconnect with themselves and the natural world around them.

Nature as a Catalyst for Transformation: Haraka believes that the power of nature can inspire personal growth and transformation. Through guided experiences in serene natural settings, we provide the opportunity for individuals to reflect, rejuvenate, and rediscover their inner harmony.

Sustainability and Conservation: Haraka is committed to preserving and protecting the natural environment we find ourselves in, with the idea of 'leave no trace' and 'tread lightly on the earth' at the core of what we do.  We actively support sustainable practices and collaborate with local communities to ensure the long-term health and well-being of the ecosystems we engage with.
